At Will Charles Salon, we value your time and commitment in visiting us for you haircare services. For that reason, appointments booked for you are considered yours and are not available for other bookings unless a cancellation occurs. As many of these appointments are considered premium (extra/personalized timing or during peak hours), we respectfully ask for 24 hours notice for reschedule requests or cancellations in oder to afford the opportunity to offer that time to another waiting patron.
While we do understand that emergencies and last minute conflicts arise, Will Charles Salon will hold at its reasonable discretion the option to require a non-refundable deposit of 50% - 100% of the scheduled service total charges to clients who have "no-showed" (missing a scheduled appointment with no communication) or cancelled appointments with less than 24 hours notice in order to book further appointments.
Gratuities are generally considered an appreciation for a job well done from the client to their practitioner(s). While not required, all of our service members graciously accept gratuities at the clients discretion. At Will Charles Salon, all gratuities are accepted in cash or check form.

We welcome clients of all ages here at Will Charles Salon! Some of the most rewarding relationships we form are with our friends of multiple generations, and some of our stylists even offer special rates for your little ones.
While we appreciate and expect that they will always be your babies, by the age of 10, they usually have more hair than their parents. As this requires the use of regular adult timing, child rates will only apply to children under 10 years of age.
We consider certain services to be "premium". This generally is determined by the length of time and skillset required to perform the service. Therefore, all of the following services will require a 50% deposit (non-refundable if cancellation occurs less than 7 days prior to scheduled appointment) before booking.
Sometimes challenges arise during the booking process that may require an in-person consultation before an actual appointment can be booked. This is generally the case of first-time visitors seeking color services without clear or routine goals, major color rehabilitation projects, extension work (i.e. color matching), or clients simply seeking advice. Consultations themselves are complimentary and allow for appropriate appointment timing upon booking. As stated above, the sensitivity of some appointment types may require a deposit upon booking which will be applied on the scheduled day.
Sometimes things don't work out as we planned. That's okay! As is customary in the industry, we are happy to address, and where possible amend (redo) services should the results be unsatisfactory and the salon is notified within 7 days and the redo appointment is booked within 14 days of the original scheduled service.
As some individuals may require an above average amount of time or product to properly complete their service, there may be adjusted prices for those appointments in order to fairly compensate our practitioners for the correlated adjustments.
